LTA Monroe would like to announce that Bright from the Start Georgia’s Department of Early Care and Learning has recognized Lemon Tree Academy’s Monroe location as a quality-rated language and literacy-endorsed center!
The Endorsement letter from Bright from the Start states “This is an impressive accomplishment and an important distinction for the program.” We have also been recognized by the Office of Governor Kemp for this accomplishment.
The endorsement is good for three years and LTA Monroe’s state profile will have a Language and Literacy endorsed seal.
Out of the state of Georgia, there were only 15 childcare centers that received this endorsement. The program took 10 months to complete. Our teachers had training in language and literacy. Our admin staff completed over 40 hours of training and mini projects. We also had to complete a center-wide project that increased language and literacy skills within the classrooms.
